Chrissy recently came into rescue, senior girl 8+, 7-8 pounds. Terrier/Maltese mix. Chrissy loves people, does great with other dogs and cats. She would do best in a home without small children. Likes to sleep a lot, and sit on your lap and just be loved on. Housetrained, crate trained, will walk on a leash however loves to be carried, as she gets tired easy on walks. Chrissy is shy does not do well in crowds. Up to date on vaccines, needs spayed prior to adoption. Located in southern Idaho transport is provided to approved home. Fees range between $150-$650. An adoption application, followed by a check of references, such as Veterinarian, and a home check and or pictures. After which the board will go over all the information and decide what is the best for the animal.

At present we are a foster based rescue. People are welcome to come meet our animals in their foster homes by appointment. In the future we will have adoption events in our areas.

The founders of the multi state rescue have over 80 years of experience in rescue. We saw the need to use our experience to help and we formed Journey Home. Our love and passion for helping neglected, injured, abandoned, homeless animals is our utmost priority. Educating the communities on the need for spayed, neuter, and vaccines and training as needed. We rely on donations, and fundraisers and grants to help sustain the rescue.
