My personality

My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Era

The Happiest Cat in the Room

Era doesn’t just like people, she is thrilled by them.

About 2 years old, Era has lived a life shaped by resilience and kindness. Even while living outdoors, she was cared for by people who loved her deeply and wanted nothing more than for her to be safe. Because of that, Era has always known human love — and it shows in everything she does. She is incredibly smart, survived a fire, and even saved her babies along the way. Now, she finally wants to be someone’s baby.
Now indoors, she is exactly where she belongs.

Personality: Pure Gratitude on Four Paws

Era is always happy to see you. Every single time. Whether you’ve been gone all day or just stepped into the room, she greets you like it’s the best moment of her day. She comes when you call her, walks right up, and climbs into your lap for affection without hesitation.

She purrs easily, loudly, and often — a constant reminder of how content she is. If you sit down, she’s there. If you open your arms, she melts right in. She loves being picked up, cuddled, and even held like a baby, completely relaxed and trusting.

Era adores comfort, but what she loves most is being close to her people. Cozy beds and blankets are wonderful, but they’re even better when shared. She has a calm, peaceful presence and makes every room feel softer just by being in it.

Era is very intelligent and cracks food puzzles like a pro. She’s a huge fan of Churus and will happily negotiate, charm, and politely insist until she gets one. She also enjoys wand toys and gentle play — proof that she’s still young at heart and enjoying her chance to just be a cat.

Era has lived peacefully with other cats and dogs, but she would also thrive as an only kitty, soaking up all the attention she so happily returns. Her deepest bonds are with humans — she truly lives for connection.

Era wakes up every day grateful, affectionate, and ready to love. She doesn’t take safety, comfort, or kindness for granted — and she shows it in the most beautiful ways.

If you’re looking for a calm, loving companion who will greet you with joy, curl into your lap without asking, and remind you daily how special love is — Era is waiting for you.
