Ginger was brought in by their previous owner 1/6/2026.

Ginger is a sweet kitty who is looking for a loving and patient home. She can be a bit fearful at first and may take some time to adjust to new people and new environments. With a gentle approach, consistency, and plenty of reassurance, Ginger will be able to settle in at her own pace. Once she feels safe and comfortable, she has the potential to become a loving and rewarding companion. Ginger came into our care with her buddy Amber AID 978290.

Ginger has been vaccinated, microchipped and spayed. Ginger is now ready for her new home!

Our lifesaving safety net has helped San Diego become the largest city in the U.S. to keep healthy and treatable shelter animals from being euthanized. We are a private, independent, nonprofit organization that is not affiliated with any other humane society or society for the prevention of cruelty to animals.

With campuses in El Cajon, Escondido, Oceanside, Ramona and San Diego, we provide animal services for 14 cities within San Diego County. We not only care for 50,000 animals in our communities but also share the expertise we have gained through our innovative programs with shelters nationwide so they can save more lives in their communities.
