She came in as a stray on 12/27/25, and we think she is about a year old. Andromeda is an absolute sweetheart with a gentle, loving nature. She already knows how to sit on command and is always happy to earn a tasty treat.
While toys aren’t really her thing, she truly lights up when it comes to playing in the snow! ❄️ She is very friendly, easy to love, and would make a wonderful addition to just about any family.

Our office is open Monday- Friday 8:30-4:30 and Saturdays from 10:00-2:00. Our kennels are closed on Mondays. The kennels are open Tuesday- Friday 11:00-4:15, Saturdays we open 10:00-1:45.

Did you know... The Richland County Dog Warden's Office & Adoption Center is self-funded and does not receive any tax paying dollars. Our revenue comes from dog license fees, adoptions, impound fees, and YOUR donations. You can send Donations by check or money order to the shelter: 810 N. Home Rd. Mansfield, Ohio 44906.
The shelter always accepts cash donations. However, there are always other things we need too. You can call it a wish list: Bleach, laundry detergent, Capstar flea tablets, Advantage flea drops, pet shampoo,Paper Towels, and sturdy collars and leashes for our dogs here at the facility and those going on transport to rescue.
