My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Bojack’s story is one of love and loss—but also hope. He has been with his previous owner since he was only six weeks old, growing up as a cherished family member. Sadly, after a difficult divorce and a move into housing that does not allow animals, his owner was forced to make the heartbreaking decision to surrender him.

Despite this major change, Bojack remains a friendly, affectionate, and well-socialized cat. He is fantastic with dogs and does wonderfully with small children, making him an ideal addition to a family home. Bojack enjoys being part of the action and thrives on companionship and routine.

He is looking for a forever home where he will once again be treated as a beloved member of the family. Bojack has so much love to give and is eager to bond with his new people. If you’re searching for a gentle, kid-friendly cat who already knows how to live happily in a home, Bojack may be the perfect match for you.

Their adoption process

Additional adoption info

Our 9LCR cats are not routinely tested for FIV and FeLV for various reasons, one being to keep the costs and hence the adoption fee affordable. This decision is based on studies that have found that only about 4% of cats are actually infected. The funds for testing are better utilized for our spay and neuter efforts of owned and community cats in order to save the most cats. However, testing can be performed upon request and need to be covered by the person interested in adopting.
9 Lives Cats have been spayed or neutered and have updated vaccinations. 9 Lives is run entirely on volunteers. Please give us 2-7 days to process your application. If you have any questions, please feel free to reach out to us! Please fill out our application form found here: t.ly/38VV
Adoption fee is $70.00.

More about this rescue

We started 9 Lives Cat Rescue to find homes for cats that are homeless or need to be relocated.
We are a no-kill, non-profit group. Our cats live in foster homes until they are adopted. We spay & neuter every cat before they are adopted.
We fully support our local no-kill feral cat group who practices TNR (Trap, Neuter & Return).
