My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Lulu is a sensitive and playful 5-year-old lady. This girl serves big dog energy in a pocket-sized 23 pounds. Lulu can be slow to warm to new people but was obsessed with her foster family within a couple days of being out of the shelter. She gets along well with any small dogs and calmer large dogs (she currently lives with two seniors who are much larger than her). Lulu loves toys— no, she is OBSESSED with toys. She will disembowel them if they aren’t the kind for tough chewers, but she has so much fun doing it that you really can’t blame her. She has tried to pick up a few non-toys in her mouth but she is quick to listen to redirection. This girl also loves hugs and prolonged eye contact so we’re hoping she finds a family who is down to cuddle.

Additional adoption info

Please visit www.hopeanimals.org/adopt to learn more about our adoption process and to complete an adoption application.

Adoption Fee includes spay/neuter*, microchipping, up-to-date vaccinations, and current heartworm and flea/tick preventatives.

*If pet is not old enough to be spayed or neutered prior to adoption, a $50.00 credit will be paid to your vet at the time of surgery.

We require a veterinary reference for current pet owners, and pets must be up to date on vaccines and heartworm preventative. We meet potential adopters in their homes and introduce the pets to the family's current pets to see if it is a good match. A copy of our adoption contract can be requested via email.
