Meet Santa Baby!
This 28lb, 5-year-old Beagle found himself picked up by animal control after running the streets on his own. While he’s friendly and gentle, he’s understandably scared and needs time to build trust and confidence in new situations. Once Santa Baby starts to feel comfortable, his sweet personality begins to shine—especially if treats are involved!
True to his Beagle nature, he absolutely loves to sniff and explore everything around him. He seems fairly independent, doesn’t mind the company of other dogs, and would do well with a calm canine friend. Santa Baby would thrive best in an active home that understands his need for exercise, enrichment, and gentle reassurance. With consistency, love, and plenty of adventures, this handsome guy has all the potential to become a loyal and happy companion.

We are the all admittance shelter in Johnson County, we are not a 501c3, but a county run facility. We try our best to place each and every animal. We also house all animals picked up by Animal Control therefore; we intake a high volume of animals each year.
