My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Bluebell 🌼🐶

Age: Approx. 4 years old.

Sex: Female.

Personality: Sweet like candy!

Good with: Dogs, Cats, Kids and everyone who'll offer a belly rub!

Bluebell is a beautiful 4-year-old female Sheltie 🐕‍🦺 / Lab 🦮 cross with a gentle heart 💕 and a bright, loving spirit ✨. She has the intelligence 🧠 and loyalty of a Sheltie combined with the friendly, affectionate nature of a Labrador 🤍, making her an amazing companion.

Bluebell loves spending time with her people 👨‍👩‍👧‍👦 and thrives on attention, affection, and praise 🥰. She is also very food motivated 🍪😋, which makes training fun and rewarding for her - treats are definitely the way to her heart 💖! She enjoys going for walks 🚶‍♀️🌳, sniffing and exploring her surroundings 👃🌿, and then curling up for cozy cuddle time 🛋️💤. At 4 years old, she's past the puppy phase 🐾 and is happy to settle into a routine, making her an easy and enjoyable addition to a home 🏡.

She would do best in a home where she can truly be part of the family 💞 and included in everyday life. Bluebell is eager to please 🌟 and, thanks to her food motivation 🍪🎓, would shine with continued positive reinforcement training, which will also help build a strong bond with her new family 🤝💖.

If you're looking for a loyal, sweet, and loving best friend 🐶💙, Bluebell may be the perfect match 🌈. She's ready to find her forever home 🏠✨ and share a lifetime of love, tail wags 🐕🎉, and happy moments 💫.

The BC SPCA is a non-profit organization dedicated to protecting and enhancing the quality of life for domestic, farm and wild animals in British Columbia. Through its locations and operations across the province the BC SPCA provides emergency medical care and sheltering for more than 37,000 animals each year. The society also conducts more than 4,600 cruelty investigations and provides a wide range of advocacy and education programs for domestic, farm and wild animals through its Provincial Office.

Our mission, vision and charter is at the heart of all we do to rescue, protect and care for animals. It is also the driving force behind our animal welfare and education programs.

The world is inhabited by many species sharing a common ecosystem of air, earth, and water. We recognize and value our interconnectedness with all animals.

Therefore:

The BC Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals is dedicated to protecting and enhancing the quality of life for the animals of the world we share.

We pledge our energies to inspire and mobilize society to create a world in which all animals, who depend on humans for their well-being, experience, as a minimum, five essential freedoms:

2. Freedom from pain, injury, and disease

3. Freedom from distress

4. Freedom from discomfort

5. Freedom to express behaviours that promote well-being.
