Meet Yuri
I had a feral mom, so at first I was learning to be scared of people. When I arrived at CVAS, everything changed. After my intake, they gave me a bath, wrapped me up like a little burrito, and snuggled me. At first, I thought it was torture… but then I realized how nice it felt and I started to purr.

Now, when people come to visit me, I go right to them and purr! I’m looking for a family who will continue giving me loving, positive interactions. I am now a true love bug with stunning fur markings, ready for my fur-ever home.

I eat 1/3 cup of dry food a day.

Who We Are

The Colville Valley Animal Sanctuary is a largely volunteer organization dedicated to providing local humane society services, including adoptions, facilitating spay/neuter, and rescue and rehabilitation of abandoned, neglected, and otherwise homeless companion animals. Our goal is to place cats and dogs permanently in safe and loving homes. We spay and neuter all of the animals in our care and actively promote, through financial donations and community support, the effort to reduce the number of unwanted animals in northeast Washington State.
