Warning! Cuteness Overload!!
Daisy Jane and Lilly Lou are an adorable, bonded pair of Holland Lop rabbits who are as sweet as they are cute. Beyond their irresistible looks, these two are wonderfully laid back and truly enjoy lounging together, making them a calming and comforting presence in any home.
While Daisy Jane and Lilly Lou enjoy being around people, they don’t appear to have been handled extensively, so they’re happiest simply hanging out nearby rather than being picked up or heavily petted right away. They’re content to lounge close to their people and be part of the room. With patience, consistency, and gentle interaction, they may continue to grow more comfortable over time and could warm up to more hands on affection at their own pace.
This bonded pair is also known for being neat and low mess, with great habits that help keep their space clean.
Daisy Jane is a beautiful tan female just over three years old, while Lilly Lou is a striking white female with black highlights, just over two years old. Their bond is strong and special, and they bring out the best in each other.
As Holland Lops, Daisy Jane and Lilly Lou are part of a breed known for their gentle, affectionate, and easygoing personalities. Holland Lops are often wonderful companions who enjoy relaxed interaction and thrive in loving, attentive homes.
If you’re looking for a bonded pair who will fill your home with calm energy, cuteness, and quiet companionship, Daisy Jane and Lilly Lou may be the perfect match. We encourage you to visit the shelter during open hours to spend some time with them! It won’t take long to fall in love.

1. Visit our shelter and choose the animal that you would like to adopt.
Please be aware that the adoption process can take anywhere from 30 minutes to 2 hours depending on the information we need to cover with you and the number of pets going home at the same time. We know this is a time commitment, but your new pet will appreciate it!
2. Fill out an adoption profile. At PMHS, we use a profile and interview process to ensure that each animal adopted will be matched with the most compatible new owner(s). Once your profile has been reviewed, our adoption counselors will discuss with you any medical or behavioral information relevant to the animal you chose and process your adoption application. Every dog or cat that is adopted from PMHS is up to date with required vaccinations and microchipped.
3. Pay fee.
3. Congratulations! You are now ready to go home with your new pet!

More about this shelter
After 35 years, our organization is now officially known as Pope Memorial Humane Society. Though we have a new name, logo, and facility, it is important to keep in mind that we are the same organization at our core. Our staff, volunteers, and operations remain the same, as does our unfailing commitment to saving the lives of animals in need. We will continue to serve Strafford County and the surrounding areas of New Hampshire and southern Maine with the same dedication. Though we are proud of the growth and impact we have made in the last 35 years as Cocheco Valley Humane Society, we look forward to this new chapter in our organization’s story.
