My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Location: Richfield, MN

Hi. Garfunkel here. I’m a calm kind of guy. I don’t bark or whine. I don’t run around going crazy. I like to nap, go for walks and stop to smell everything, chew on bones a bit, and get gentle pets. I also like to give gentle kisses. I don’t mind my kennel. I nap in it with the door open. Or on the couch. I like to be around people, but I don’t want to sit on your lap or get all up in your face. My foster Mom has invited me up on the bed, but I don’t go. Instead, I lay on the floor next to the bed. I live with two dogs and two cats. We get along fine. I’m good at sitting on command, but I’m still learning to come when I’m called. Stay? What does that mean? I’m smart but nobody has taught me much yet. Good news is that my foster Mom has started to work with me and since I love delicious treats, I’m confident that my training will not be in vain. I don’t mind the cold, so if you’re looking for a quiet companion for outdoor adventures, gentle calm affection with the family, and naps on the couch, I’m your guy. BTW my fur is crazy soft and luxurious.

The best way to show interest in an animal is to submit an adoption application by visiting our website (www.rescuenetworkmn.org).

Adoption fee includes spay/neuter, all age-appropriate vaccinations (distemper, rabies, and bordetella), heartworm and flea/tick preventatives, heartworm test (dogs), FIV/FeLV test (cats), dewormed, and microchip implant (including registration).

Rescue Network is strictly foster based which means all adoptable animals are in a home and there cannot be a meet until an application is submitted and approved. We have no way of knowing the breeds in the animals. All breeds listed are best guess.
