My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Blondie
Female
Approx 6 months old
DSH Calico

My name is Blondie and I am a stellar, stunning girl! Not only am I beautiful but playing and getting into catty mischief is my thing. Cuddling up to purr & watch tv or read is my delight. I promise to be your furever girl!

Blondie has struggled with a goopy eye where the third eyelid is often raised since she came into rescue. We have treated it several times. She saw the vet for a checkup today and he said any signs of ulcer or infection are gone. She does not need eye drops. It most likely is something viral and so she has been put on L-lysine which she might need to restart occasionally as flare ups occur. It could also be Haw's syndrome which is just an elevation of the third eyelid in cats. The vet has cleared her for adoption.

Location: in foster

Medical: All cats are spayed/neutered, current on age appropriate vaccines (rabies and distemper), microchipped, given flea/tick prevention and de-wormer, FIV/FeLV tested, and any other veterinary care that is needed prior to adoption.
