I’m a 6-month-old Husky / Shiba Inu mix, about 38 pounds, and I’m bursting with happy, high-energy enthusiasm. If zoomies were a power source, I could run a small town ⚡😂. I love to run, bounce, play, and explore, and I need a home with a very active lifestyle to keep me busy and fulfilled. When I’m properly exercised, I’m an absolute joy — when I’m bored, I get creative… so let’s stay moving!
I’m a total Velcro pup 💕 and want to be by your side 24/7. Sitting down? I’m in your lap. Walking away? I’m right behind you. I love people of all ages, from children to the elderly, but because I still have puppy zoomies, I may not be the best match for folks who are unsteady on their feet — at least until I polish my manners with training (which I’ll pick up quickly because I’m super smart!). Oh — and did I mention I’m very vocal? 🎶🐺 I love to “talk” and sing just like a Husky should! Whether I’m excited, happy, or just expressing my thoughts, I’ve got a lot to say and I’m not shy about sharing it. Life with me will never be boring or quiet.
I’m highly intelligent, eager to please, and a fast learner, so training will be fun and rewarding. I know how to use a doggie door, and while I was a stray so I can’t promise I’m 100% potty trained yet, I do prefer to do my business outside. 👍Because I love my people so much, I’ve learned how to climb fences to get back to you — so yard time should always be supervised. I also have a high prey drive and will chase squirrels and rabbits, and I do not like cats, so a cat-free home is best for me. If there is any problem with your adopted pet, call us to work out a solution. Occasionally, we do take adopted pets back, but very seldom. This is why visiting our shelter is so important! We are willing to work with you! And we appreciate referrals!
