Zuzu is a gorgeous, thick, 11-year-old gentleman who is FIV-positive and full of love. Unfortunately, his adopter had to return him due to a medical issue, through no fault of his own.
He has been boarding at the vet clinic for the past few weeks and truly needs a home environment where he can relax and be spoiled. Zuzu is not a fan of other cats, but he adores people and would do just fine with a calm, friendly dog.
This sweet senior deserves comfort, stability, and a soft place to land. Please reach out if you can foster or are interested in giving Zuzu the forever home he deserves.

Our kitten adoption fee is $175 per kitten or $300 for a pair of kittens. Our cat (over 1 year old) adoption fee is $150.
We are a foster home based rescue. All interested adopters fill out an adoption application prior to meeting a dog or cat. All animals are fully vetted prior to finalized adoption and a home visit is done before the adoption is completed.

CARF works independently and in conjunction with other responsible rescue organizations. CARF advocates for proactive legislation to prevent and punish animal abuse, supports animal awareness campaigns targeting at-risk children and adults, sponsors animal assistance programs for marginalized individuals, and funds educational programs to enlighten future generations for the betterment of animal welfare and responsible animal stewardship. We serve Chicago and the greater Chicagoland area.
