Meet Blue Bryson, a striking white "gentle giant" with soulful blue eyes who is searching for a peaceful place to finally call home. After a difficult past, this sweet senior boy is looking for a quiet, low-traffic sanctuary where he can feel safe and adored. Because he is front-paw declawed and moves at a slower pace, he would thrive best in a calm environment where the only "excitement" is the sound of a wet food can opening. Blue Bryson has a heart of gold and absolutely lives for gentle pets and quiet companionship; he’s a resilient soul who is ready to leave his rough start behind in exchange for a soft bed and a lifetime of love.

A New Leash on Life has a goal of saving all the adoptable pets about to die in the municipal shelters of Alabama until we become a NO KILL state. We rescue, provide veterinary care, provide a foster home or adoption center spot, and find adopters who are good matches for homeless dogs and cats...AND horses, pigs, rabbits, and any other animal who needs our help. All animals are fully vetted, including spay/neuter, microchip, vaccines, testing (HW for dogs, FIV/Felv for cats), and whatever else they need before adoption.
