My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi, I’m Gyoza !
I might be a little shy at first, but give me a chance, and I’ll show you just how affectionate and playful I can be! I love exploring new spaces slowly at my own pace, but once I feel comfortable, I’m all purrs, gentle head nudges, and playful zoomies.

I’m curious and smart, so I enjoy toys, interactive play, and discovering cozy spots to curl up in. I warm up quickly with patient, kind humans, and once I do, I’m loyal, loving, and ready to be your little shadow.

If you’re looking for a sweet, sensitive kitten who turns into a warm, confident companion in no time, Adopt me today!

More about this shelter

The Oahu SPCA was founded in April of 2009 and launched its mission, "Every healthy, treatable animal will find a forever home." The overwhelming support of community members was instrumental in helping to establish the first animal shelter in the state of Hawaii with a "no-kill philosophy." On July 18, 2009, 432 animals were relinquished to the Oahu SPCA the Largest Animal Rescue in the history of Hawaii. The Oahu SPCA rescued all 432 animals in 48 hours after the owner of an animal sanctuary in Waianae passes away.
