I have been working with the Behavior team here at OHS and am looking for a special home. Click the "meet me" button to start the process and schedule an appointment.

Fearful Behavior: I can be worried about new people or new surroundings. I prefer to take things at my own pace and will need to go home to a calm environment.

I am a sweet and sensitive boy who takes a little time to build trust and make friends.

If you're patient with me, I am sure to blossom and become your best pal.

I may enjoy casually batting at a toy mouse every now and then, but my favorite activity is relaxing in the best spots around the house.

All I need is a soft warm place to lay, and to be told I am the goodest boy.

Did I hear you have treats? Churus are my favorite! Maybe you can share some with me.
I really like other cats, they help me feel more confident and comfortable in my environment.

The type of home I'm looking for:

I would flourish in a calm environment and a low-traffic home.

Meet and greets are done on a first-come/first-served basis. There may be a wait time during our busiest times, including the weekends.

Take the Pet Home

We do not offer holds on any animals at this time.

Additional adoption info

Oregon Humane Society’s Portland and Salem campuses are open from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m., seven days per week. Adoptions are on a first-come, first-served basis.

When you come to the shelter and see a pet you are interested in meeting, please take note of the pet’s name and visit the front desk in the lobby. Our Customer Care team will be happy to assist you with the next steps.
