Kavalame 's Story

Meet Kavalame 💖

Kavalame is a one-year-old brown tabby with white, domestic shorthair who arrived at the shelter as a stray on 12/4/26. From the moment you meet her, it’s clear she’s as cute as can be—her silky-soft fur perfectly matches her gentle, beautiful soul.

This sweet girl is ready to leave her past behind and start fresh in a loving forever home. With her charming looks and warm presence, Kavalame is sure to make a wonderful companion for someone ready to give her the love she deserves.

If you’re looking for a soft, sweet, and soulful feline friend, Kavalame may be the one for you. 🐾💫

More about this shelter

The Gloucester County Animal Shelter functions as an impoundment/adoption facility which temporarily houses lost, stray, unwanted or abandoned pets for the 24 municipalities in Gloucester County, until such time as they are reclaimed by their owner or adopted by a new family. The Shelter also provides a 24-hour emergency service for calls regarding animals that are sick, injured or posing an immediate threat to the public.

We have a very dedicated staff and volunteer core who work very hard to see that these homeless pets are given a second chance and placed in a proper homes. All animals are spayed/neutered at the time of their adoption and up to date on their age appropriate vaccinations, Heartworm tested (for dogs) or feline combination tested (for cats) and microchipped.
