My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Dublin is a very sweet, loving, and delightfully chill lady with an adorable trilling meow that will instantly win your heart. Mostly black with a charming white splotch on her chest, Dublin was found as a stray with her three kittens — including her daughter, Lady Gray.

From the start, Dublin has been outgoing and affectionate. She loves hopping up to nap on laps or chests, sleeping in late, and co-napping with her people. When she gets the wiggles, she’ll happily show off her belly, and she truly enjoys being petted and held. Heating pads, cozy blankets, window watching, felt balls, rattle mice, and even quietly attending Zoom meetings are all favorites.

Dublin is a bit of a rule follower — she comes when called and eats her own food (not anyone else’s). She’s adaptable, soft-furred, and does well with other cats. She has seen small dogs and is curious, though introductions have been limited.

Dublin prefers a covered or tall litter box (she pees tall!) and a plastic rug outside the box.

Dublin is fostered with Lady Gray, and this loving duo would be thrilled to be adopted together, bringing warmth, calm, and plenty of love to their forever home. 💕

Dublin is fixed, microchipped, FIV/FeLv negative, and up to date on vaccinations for her age.

More about this rescue

Twin Cities Pet Rescue (TCPR) is a small, 501c3 nonprofit, companion animal rescue organization. TCPR does not have a facility and is 100% foster-based. TCPR rescues dogs, cats and small animals of all breeds; rescuing them from city impounds, puppy mills, and other situations of abuse and neglect. Once rescued, all animals receive veterinary care ranging from spay/neuter, vaccines, microchips, and basic testing to specialty eye surgeries, pet dermatology care, and various other specialty treatments. Once an animal is rescued by TCPR, it remains in a foster home until adopted, no matter how long that might take.
TCPR often rescues animals that are considered “less adoptable” by other rescue organizations, as they are often the ones overlooked and truly left behind; and in need of the most help. These animals might be overlooked due to their age, health status, special needs or breed. TCPR works to help as many animals in need find their furever families as we can, especially helping those animals that need help most.
