Meet Kindle, a beautiful two-year-old tuxedo with a heart as warm as her name. She came to our rescue with seven other cats after a devastating house fire in Ansonia just before Christmas. When the family’s home caught fire, the cats were left behind to fend for themselves in a space that was suddenly unsafe and unfamiliar.
Despite everything she’s been through, Kindle has held onto her gentle spirit and is now ready for a fresh start in a furever home where she can finally feel secure again. She is bonded to her housemate Pyro, and the two share very similar personalities and a deep connection that brings them comfort and confidence. Like Pyro, Kindle can be a little reserved at first while she adjusts, but once she feels safe, her true lovebug nature shines through.
Kindle is incredibly sweet and affectionate and thrives on human companionship. When she’s comfortable, she happily becomes a lap cat, curling up close for cuddles and soaking in all the attention you’re willing to give. Gentle, loving, and devoted, Kindle finds reassurance in both her people and her bond with Pyro, making them a wonderful pair for a home looking to double the love. Kindle is searching for a calm, patient home where she can feel safe, cherished, and adored.
She is currently at the Purrfect Lounge in Plainville, a cat lounge where guests can visit and play with the cats. All meet & greets for Kindle will take place there, giving you a chance to see her sweet personality in action!
Her adoption fee is $250 ($200 goes to the rescue, $50 to the lounge) and Kindle is vaccinated, FIV/FELV negative, microchipped, and spayed.
