Meet Apizza, a four-month-old tuxedo kitten with a delicate heart and a quiet, gentle presence. Apizza came to us from New Haven as a stray with her mom, Meow Haven, and her siblings—Sally, Frank Pepe, and Modern (yes, named after the most iconic local pizzerias). Having spent her early months outdoors, Apizza is still adjusting to the sights, sounds, and routines of indoor life, and it’s all very new (and a little scary) to her right now.
She is very shy and may hiss or shake when she feels overwhelmed, but this is purely fear-based—she is not aggressive. Apizza needs a calm, patient home that understands she will take time to feel safe and settled. With consistency, quiet reassurance, and lots of space to decompress, she has every chance to gain confidence and begin to trust.
Apizza finds comfort in the company of other cats and must be adopted with one of her littermates or into a home with another confident, friendly kitty who can help her feel secure and show her that indoor life can be a good thing. For the right adopter—someone gentle, patient, and willing to move at her pace—Apizza has the potential to be a deeply rewarding companion.
Her adoption fee is $275 and Apizza is vaccinated, FIV/FELV negative, microchipped, and spayed. If you're interested in this little cutie, please fill out an application at https://form.jotform.com/201805462692153. For questions, email info@happilyfureverafter.org.
