Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Meet Cedar! This handsome boy came to us with his three siblings and their loving mom. While their mom is outgoing and adores people, Cedar and his siblings are still learning to trust. Thanks to their time in a nurturing foster home, Cedar has discovered that humans can be wonderful! He’s starting to come out of his shell and shows signs of being a curious and affectionate companion. With a little more patience and love, Cedar is sure to blossom into a loving friend.
Cedar is the most outgoing of the four, but he will still need time to adjust in a new home. He would do best in a household with another confident cat. He also seems to be okay with dogs, but children make him nervous! Come meet him and see if he’s the perfect fit for your home! ✨ Thinking about adopting? ✨ You’re welcome to stop by during our open hours to meet the cats and kittens! You can also fill out an application online, and we’ll be happy to set up an appointment time for you. 🐾 All cats and kittens adopted from the Boone Area Humane Society must be kept as indoor-only pets and may not be declawed. 🐾 Every cat is spayed/neutered, FeLV tested, microchipped, dewormed, and up to date on age-appropriate vaccinations before adoption.

To adopt one of our pets and rent we ask that you have landlord approval. If you have pets at home already they'll need to be up-to-date on their vaccinations.
We like to make sure you and your pet are a good match! We'll spend time finding out what kind of pet you are looking for and if the pet you picked out will fit your lifestyle.
Dog adoption is $95 to include spay/neuter, all vaccinations except rabies, heartworm testing and microchipping.
Adult cats (6 months and older) are $50 and include spay/neuter, all vaccinations except rabies, feluk testing and microchipping.
KIttens are $75 include spay/neuter, all vaccinations except rabies, feluk testing and microchipping.
