Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Let's start with the obvious. Is Yankees not one of the cutest dogs you have ever seen? This adorable mix is just bursting with personality. In the shelter, Yankees was naturally a little scared, but after a week in a foster home, the real Yankees began to shine. Yankees absolutely loves other dogs and has been very respectful when meeting them. Another dog in the home would definitely help her to continue to grow more confident. She is learning to walk on a leash and in no time will love to go for walks. (A harness would be recommended) Yankees is still a puppy with a love for all toys and this would include your shoes. She only had one accident in her foster home, so with some consistency, she should be housebroken in no time. Yankees is part Husky and she embraces it. She can easily jump over a 4 foot fence and would likely run if given the opportunity. In her foster home, she had a privacy fence, so there were no attempted escapes. She loves to run and gets the zoomies. Although she has a lot of energy outside, she calms down very nicely inside. Yankees has no problem with using a crate. She sometimes goes in there on her own to take a nap. This girl is just a little obsessed with cats, well very obsessed. At the very least, she would not be able to resist chasing them and they would not make good roommates. To sum things up, Yankees is very sweet and affectionate. She will make an amazing companion to anyone lucky enough to adopt her.
