Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Mysterious Marion Motors Along!
Marion wants to hang out with you! If you’re on one end of the couch, she will take the other. Working from home? She’ll snooze near your workspace. Going to another room? Marion will soon make an appearance to inspect what you are doing and see if she can help. Importantly, do you want to play???
Marian’s past life is a mystery. At intake, this polydactyl cutie presented with a broken leg, a healthy weight, neutered, no fleas, and a friendly demeanor despite the circumstances. Because she is so trusting and has such good manners, it is probable that some human really loved her and treated her well.
She greets guests. She initiates kisses (from her lips to yours) and energetic nose rubs (from her nose to yours). When introduced to a scratching post, she adopted it enthusiastically and left the sofa alone. She knows the kitchen table is off limits (but she will gingerly test to see if you know this rule, too). Marion loves a tidy litter box and covers up her contributions with particular care and thoroughness.
Marion’s spirits are excellent despite her becoming a tripod in December due to her broken leg. She has been making the most of her post-op freedom, doing a lot of exploring, running up and down stairs, testing all the seating and snoozing options available, and determining the best site lines to monitor her foster home.
Marion loves to eat! For her longterm health, particularly as a tripod, she needs to stay trim to maintain good joint health.
Presently, Marion is living in a quiet home and would welcome more activity. She might enjoy a cat friend with the right introduction—she was been watching cat videos calmly and with interest. Marion really doesn’t like to be picked up, but she could be a good friend to a cat-savvy kid who respects her wishes and wields a laser toy!
