Looking for a big bodacious boy cat to fill your lap on a cold winter evening? Look no further - Sammie is your man! His previous family reluctantly surrendered him due to allergies. We`re told he can be choosy with people but once you`re chosen, he`ll give you lots of love and occupy your lap whenever it`s available. Sammie will need regular brushing to keep his coat from matting (you`ll notice some shaved spots when you meet him). Bring a large carrier to Dedham to scoop up Sammie!
Sammie is currently up to date on all vaccinations, has been spayed/neutered, microchipped and seen by our vet team.

Situated 10 miles southwest of Boston on the beautiful grounds of the former summer sanctuary for the city’s working horses, ARL’s newly remodeled shelter in Dedham, Massachusetts is just a glimpse into ARL’s bold future. The new modern shelter design allows us to provide even more animals with high-quality direct animal care that meets best-practice standards in animal welfare.
The 27-acre property serves as ARL’s main livestock center and is home to Pine Ridge Pet Cemetery, the oldest continuously operated pet cemetery by a humane society in the United States.
