My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Winnie!

Winnie is a beautiful 13-year-old gray and white Domestic Shorthair who is looking for a quiet, loving home where she can enjoy her golden years in comfort and peace.

Winnie is a calm, low-key girl who enjoys a good balance of lounging and playtime. She loves napping, playing with toys, and being near her people—especially adults and seniors who appreciate a relaxed companion. She’s also a big fan of treats and is very food-motivated, though she’s polite and not an over-eater

Affection with Winnie is very much on her terms. She enjoys gentle scratches on her head and under her chin and will happily purr while being petted—but she will let you know when she’s had enough. Because of this, Winnie would do best with cat-savvy adults who respect feline boundaries.

Winnie has never been outside (except for vet visits), is litter box trained, She prefers to live out her golden years as the queen of her castle in a home without other animals or young children. She would thrive a calm household where her space and routine are respected.

If you’re looking for a sweet, independent senior kitty who enjoys companionship without being overly demanding, Winnie could be a wonderful match

More about this rescue

PupStarz Rescue is an animal welfare group committed to the rescue and rehabilitation of dogs and cats in public shelters at high risk of euthanasia, as well as those in danger of abuse. We are committed to rescuing as many animals as possible, saving over 4,500 dogs and cats since 2015.

PupStarz Rescue is a foster-based rescue, relying on fosters to open their homes and lives to our Animals. Animals in our care receive proper medical care, including alteration, vaccinations, and microchipping.

Following a thorough screening, our animals are placed in loving, responsible, committed forever homes. PupStarz Rescue ensures that adoptions are an appropriate match for both the animal and their new family by educating prospective adopters about the responsibilities and costs of bringing a furry companion into their lives.

We are committed to the welfare of our "Starz" beyond the adoption process. We maintain open communication with our adopters to ensure a smooth transition, and offer additional support such as positive training techniques.

Founded in 2015, PupStarz Rescue is a non-profit, 501(c)3, no-kill, animal rescue organization.
