Nate is an easy-going and friendly 2 year old Poodle! He weighs about 20 pounds, but does not discriminate when it comes to dog friends. He loves his 12 pound canine roomie! We think he would do well with cats, too! He is still cautious meeting new people, but he is warming up more and more as he gets used to his foster home and we are sure he'll do the same when he meets his forever people!
Nate is happy to run and explore, and he jumps with excitement when he's outside with other dogs. He's also learning to love ear scatches and enjoys the warmth of the wood burning stove in his foster home. He has started working on training and hopes his adopter will be ready to continue teaching him! He does well in his crate over night after a little settling, and he has started potty training with a strict schedule. He's not sure about this whole "leash" thing, so his family will need to help him continue to get accustomed to having a person at the other end of it! Nate is a cutie with an energetic personality and luscious locks to boot. He will surely be the cuddliest buddy once he lets his guard down so please let us know if he seems like the pup for you!
