Rio is a relaxed, sociable, and easygoing cat who loves affection and companionship. He’s the kind of boy who makes soft, endearing little sounds when he wants attention and happily snuggles against your legs, often rubbing his head or even stretching out across your feet. He doesn’t enjoy being held in laps, but he always wants to be close and will settle right beside you.
He has a great appetite and typically finishes about three cans of wet food a day. Dry food isn’t his favorite, but he’s very curious about whatever his humans are eating and likes to stay involved. Rio enjoys playtime with a wand toy for about 15–20 minutes each day. He loves to chase it, even if jumping isn’t his strongest skill.
Rio would do well with adopters who want a cuddly, snuggly cat and who have an active, engaging home!
Prior to adoption, all cats are spayed/neutered, tested for FIV/FELV, vaccinated and microchipped.
