Dog's Name: Garfunkel (GAR0126ALAMN)
Estimated Breed: Spaniel / Jack Russell Terrier mix
Approximate Age: 1 year
Approximate Weight: 18 lbs
Currently Living at: Boarding
Adoption Fee: $400
DOG'S DESCRIPTION: Meet Garfunkel — half of an incredibly handsome duo!
Garfunkel traveled all the way from Alabama with his equally adorable brother, Simon, and while he may start out a little shy, don’t let that fool you. Give him a few minutes and Garfunkel transforms into a sweet, affectionate little guy who’s ready to soak up all the love you’re willing to give. This young fella gets along wonderfully with other dogs and having a canine friend around would help build his confidence.
Garfunkel is searching for a forever family who will give him patience, love, and maybe a cozy spot on the couch. If you’re looking for a loyal loving companion, Garfunkel is ready to be part of your pack. Apply today for one or both of these lovable boys — they can't wait to meet you!
Your new pet will require a refresher in house-training. K-9 Lifesavers strongly recommends all new adopters enroll their new pet into obedience training. This provides for an easier transition into a new home, ensures the dog remains well socialized, and helps form a bond between the dog and the new family.
Adoption fees cover basic vetting, rabies (if puppy is old enough), distemper/parvo vaccinations, deworming, monthly heartworm prevention while in our care (if old enough), monthly flea/tick prevention while in our care, and transport costs. K-9 Lifesavers will also cover the cost of spay/neuter at our partner vet at 6 months of age or reimburse adopter for up to the amount of our partner vet cost should you choose to spay/neuter at your own vet.
Foster Program: Foster homes provide for the temporary care of a rescue until the dog is placed into a loving, forever home.
