My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Bo is an adorable big boy who’s absolutely full of energy. He has beautiful classic tabby markings and the sweetest little face that almost looks too small for his body. Bo is convinced he’s the star player of the team and loves proving it with a good game of chase or a friendly wrestling match with his siblings. He’s also a huge fan of toys of all kinds. Wand toys, balls, laser light, tunnels - if it’s in play, Bo wants in. Even though he’s the biggest of the bunch, he’s got the tiniest little meow, which you will hear when he’s asking for scratches. Bo might play a bit hard to get at first, but once you’re on his roster, he’ll be all over you, demanding pets and serenading you with purrs. When the humans aren’t around, you’ll find him curled up in a tight little ball with his siblings, recharging and ready for the next game. We aren’t sure how Bo is with other cats, dogs or kids. Priority will be given to applicants applying for a pair of “Blue Jays Crew” siblings (Kirky, Addison or Springer), as they must be adopted in pairs.

Kittens under the age of nine months MUST have another age-appropriate cat or dog in their home, or as otherwise noted. PRIORITY WILL BE GIVEN TO SUITABLE APPLICATIONS FOR SIBLINGS.

As we often receive numerous applications for each cat or kitten, we will only contact applicants who best suit the needs of the cat or kitten. Finding the best home for our cat or kitten is our top priority. Applications are not first come, first served.

More about this rescue

Home at Last Rescue (HALR) is a Registered Canadian Charity, that is 100% volunteer driven. Our goal is to rescue cats from substandard living conditions and give them the loving homes they deserve.

We provide medical care, emotional support and a loving environment while preparing them to find their forever homes. With no physical location, all of our cats and kittens reside in loving foster homes across the Greater Toronto Area until they are ready for adoption.

We receive no government funding and rely solely on adoption fees, donations and our fundraising efforts to support our initiatives. We believe there is a home for every cat and a cat for every home.
