Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Rose is a Border Collie mix puppy and a spunky member of our Heated Rivalry group. She came to us from Ozarks Pet Rescue after originally being found as a stray with her mom, Sheba, by Poplar Bluff Animal Control. Mom had some pretty serious medical challenges after raising her puppies, but she’s now happy, healthy, and the whole family is finally ready to find the loving homes they deserve.
Rose is a classic puppy: playful, curious, and full of personality… with just the right amount of sass. Her side-eye game is truly next level and will keep you laughing daily. She has that smart, confident Border Collie energy and will thrive in a home committed to continuing her basic training and socialization so she can grow into a well-mannered, happy adult.
She is currently working on crate training and learning her basic manners, and she’s doing great for her age. Rose is available to a foster-to-adopt home within 30 minutes of Madison while she completes her medical care, making this a perfect opportunity to help her transition into home life while she finishes vetting.
If you’re looking for a puppy with brains, beauty, and a little bit of attitude, Rose might just be your perfect match.
All of our dogs are dewormed, spayed/neutered, microchipped, up to date on age-appropriate vaccines, and heartworm tested if they are old enough. If you're interested in adopting, please fill out an application on our website at https://www.sftsrescue.org/adoptable-dogs

Our adoption process prioritizes accessibility, equality, and inclusivity. An application can be completed online or in person, ensuring accessibility for all potential adopters. Additionally, our application is available in Spanish to cater to a diverse range of applicants.
Once an application is submitted and approved, we facilitate adoption meet-and-greets on-site at our shelter's adoption center. This allows potential adopters to interact with the animals they are interested in and make informed decisions about their adoption.
Overall, our adoption program is designed to make the process as smooth and inclusive as possible, ensuring that each animal finds a loving and permanent home.
