*** I'M PET OF THE WEEK!! ***
Meet Jax
Jax is a 7-year-old sweetheart who’s still young at heart and full of love to give. He’s the kind of dog who believes his life’s mission is to snuggle, kiss, and be as close to his people as possible. If you let him, he’ll happily crawl right into your lap for a big, heartfelt hug.
Jax walks nicely on leash and truly shines during playtime—especially if you play bow and invite him into a round of zoomies. Nothing makes him happier than that burst of joyful movement! His little grey muzzle only adds to his irresistible charm and gentle soul.
A true gentleman, Jax knows how to sit and shake, and he’ll gladly perform for a tasty cookie. When the excitement settles, he loves sitting on a bench beside his people, soaking up the sunshine, pausing often to check in with a sweet nuzzle just to remind you he’s there.
Affectionate, well-mannered, and endlessly loving, Jax is the kind of companion who will fill your days with warmth, laughter, and lots of cuddles.
The Rescue is open 7 days a week for you to come and meet our pets! Walk-ins are welcome! In order to interact with them, you’ll need a simple questionnaire filled out. You can fill this out at the Rescue or before you come in at: https://petstablished.com/adoption_form/36924/generic
If you have any questions, please email us at adoptions@pawscrossedny.org for more information. Please understand that we cannot hold pets for any reason. All adoptions are done on a first come, first adopt basis for pre-approved applicants.
The Shelter software system requires that we choose a predominant breed or breed mix for our dogs. Visual breed identification in dogs is unreliable so for most of our dogs we are only guessing at predominant breed or breed mix. We encourage you to select your new companion by considering each dog's individual personality and pet qualities instead of relying on a breed label that is only a guess.
