Callie II is an owner surrender looking for a new home.
Hi! My name is Callie II! I am a beautiful 2 year old fawn girl that is an owner surrender due to changes in my family's dynamics and my owner is no longer able to care for me. My littermate brother, Willie II, is also available for adoption and we prefer to stay together since we've been together our whole life! I am described as friendly, shy, active, smart, protective, playful, affectionate, nervous, timid, shy, and obedient! It is said that I get along with other dogs, currently living with Willie and our parents, but occasional spats over toys or treats happen. I am stingy with my food so eating in kennels happens in my current home with all dogs to eliminate any issues. I have never lived with a cat so it is uncertain if I am feline friendly. There are two kids in my current home (ages 8 and 16 years) and I am very playful and affectionate with them! I am nervous around strangers and will need time to warm up. I am house trained, crate trained, and at night I sleep on the couch. If the owners must be away, I am fine being left alone. When outside I have good behavior and do not dig but I can jump high so a tall fence is needed to keep me secure. I am scared of fireworks and when I hear them I will not go outside. Some of my favorite things are riding in the car, playing catch with ball and ropes, sleeping on the chair next to my owner while they work, playing fetch, cuddling, and being pet!
