Yes, Tchotchke is super cute but is also shy. We recently got her from another shelter and getting to know her. She's very clean and slowly starting to get curious. We know she doesn't like to be held (most rabbits don't) and didn't enjoy her nail trim. So what kind of home would be best for Tchotchkes? We think a very quiet, Zen type of home would make her feel most comfortable. Right now children may be too overwhelming. Patience will be key to helping her family bond with her. In time her true personality will come thru. It just make take some time.
Marin Humane rabbits are companion house rabbits. They live indoors only and cage free- living in a 16+ square foot pen or free-roam in the home. This lets them live much longer, happier lives! Indoor rabbits can live 12+ years and require a lot of time and commitment. In return they offer years of love and companionship! You can find more information on rabbit care at rabbit.org .
