Rosita is a tiny baby kitten with a big case of the shy-but-trying. She’s not the first to run up and say hello—but give her a little time, a gentle voice, and a few treats, and you’ll see her confidence bloom.

Rosita is a careful observer of the world. Once she decides you’re safe, she turns on the charm: loud, happy purrs and sweet little rubs against your hand to ask for affection. She’s soft, gentle, and worth getting to know.

This little lady is looking for a home that understands that good things take time. If you’re willing to move at Rosita’s pace and celebrate small wins, she promises to meet you with growing trust, cozy moments, and lots of quiet love.

Visit the shelter during regular business hours. If the pet is listed as "in foster", please contact the foster at the email provided.

Submit Application

If you would like to adopt after meeting the animal, the foster or staff member will give you a link to an online application.

Approve Application

One of our adoptions counselors will contact you to go over the pet’s medical history, personality information, and answer any questions.

4.
Sign Adoption Contract

Finalize adoption paperwork & pay adoption fee.

5.
Take the Pet Home

Schedule a time to pick up the pet at the shelter.
