Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Patches’ story begins in heartbreak—but it quickly turns into one filled with hope, joy, and endless love.
As a tiny puppy, Patches was found dumped in a flooded ditch in Western Louisiana along with her littermates. They were starving, neglected, and covered in fleas, left in conditions no puppy should ever face. Yet even in those frightening early days, Patches showed a spark of resilience and a gentle spirit that refused to be dimmed.
Now just 10 months old and weighing around 30 pounds, Patches has blossomed into a happy, healthy hound mix with so much love to give. She is fully vaccinated, spayed, and heartworm negative—ready for a bright future. She’s housebroken, walks nicely on a leash, and gets along great with other dogs. Patches adores people of all ages, but she has a special soft spot for kids, greeting everyone with a wagging tail and an open heart.
Patches is a smart girl who loves to learn and thrives on companionship. She’s incredibly friendly, affectionate, and full of that joyful puppy energy that makes every day a little brighter. Whether she’s trotting happily by your side on a walk or curling up for cuddles, Patches reminds you how powerful love and second chances can be.
From a flooded ditch to a hopeful tomorrow, Patches has overcome so much in her short life. All she needs now is a forever family to call her own—one who will cherish her the way she has always deserved.
