Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Spot’s journey is one of survival, resilience, and a heart that chose love despite a difficult beginning.
As a young puppy, Spot was found abandoned in a flooded ditch in Western Louisiana alongside his littermates. They were starving, neglected, and covered in fleas—left in a place no puppy should ever know. Yet even in those harsh conditions, Spot’s gentle and trusting nature began to shine through.
Now 10 months old and weighing about 40 pounds, Spot has grown into a healthy, happy hound mix who is ready for his forever home. He is fully vaccinated, neutered, heartworm negative, and has stayed current on flea, tick, and heartworm prevention.
Spot is housebroken, walks beautifully on a leash, and gets along great with other dogs. He loves people of all kinds but truly lights up around children, greeting them with pure joy and a wagging tail. He’s a smart boy who enjoys learning and being part of a family.
Incredibly friendly, affectionate, and full of happiness, Spot is the kind of dog who turns everyday moments into something special. From a flooded ditch to a hopeful future, Spot has already overcome so much. Now all he needs is a forever family to give him the love, safety, and home he has always deserved.
