My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Toasted Coconut
Short Hair Orange & White Neutered Male
Estimated Birthday: 5/10/2025
Special Needs: Tripod

Meet Toasted Coconut, also known as Toasty 🥥 — a little miracle with a big personality!

Toasted Coconut’s journey started at a shelter, where it was discovered that he needed his back leg amputated to live a happy, pain-free life. Thanks to that life-changing surgery (and a whole lot of love), this resilient boy is now thriving—and you’d never guess he’s a tripod by the way he zooms, plays, and explores the world!

Playful, curious, and endlessly charming, Toasty has fully embraced life on three legs. He loves batting at toys, soaking up affection, and showing off his impressive balance and confidence. His missing leg hasn’t slowed him down one bit—in fact, it seems to have given him extra appreciation for the good things in life, like Churu treats, cozy naps, gentle head scratches, and quality time with his people.

Toasted Coconut is proof that “different” can be absolutely wonderful. He’s looking for a forever home that will celebrate his unique story, cheer on his playful antics, and give him the love he so clearly deserves. He gets along well with other friendly cats with proper introductions and would love to have a furry friend in his new home. He may do well with older, cat-savvy children and a mellow dog. If you’re searching for a joyful, resilient companion with a heart as warm as his name, Toasted Coconut just might be your perfect match. 💛

Toasty is neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, tested negative for FIV and FeLV, and has been treated for parasites. His adoption fee is $125. All current pets must be fixed and up-to-date on vaccines. Do you have room in your heart and home for this cute boy?

Additional adoption info

* We do require adopters to be at least 21 years old.
* If you are leasing, we do ask that you provide a copy of your rental agreement showing that cats are allowed.
* We also ask that all adults living in the home agree with the adoption and addition of a feline friend to the family.
* For families with young children (under 6), kittens over 6 months are best.
* If the pet is to be alone for a significant amount of time, we ask that you consider adopting an older kitten or adult, or consider adopting two kittens to keep each other company. Young kittens are susceptible to social-depression if alone for a significant amount of time.
* We also discourage "gift" adoptions unless it is from a parent to a minor child.

Our adoption fee of $100 (cash/check) includes feline leukemia/FIV testing, deworming, flea preventative, microchip, and age-appropriate vaccines. All Tigerlily cats are thoroughly examined by a veterinarian. All cats and kittens are spayed/neutered prior to being available for adoption.
