My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Asher is a charming young silver-gray kitten with a sweet white tummy and an even sweeter personality. This playful boy has a goofy streak that keeps everyone smiling—he loves batting balls across the floor and has a funny habit of carrying small toys (or “treasures” like bottle caps and wrappers) around in his mouth as if he’s very proud of his finds.

Asher is the perfect mix of active and chill. He enjoys chasing teaser toys and zooming around with his sisters, but he’s also happy to relax, especially perched at the top of the cat tree with his siblings Gracie and Peppermint. True to his reputation, Asher is a total foodie and gets very excited about mealtime, treats, and especially Churu!

He’s fully litter trained, great with other cats, and would likely do well with respectful children. Asher likes cuddles on his own terms—he’s fine being picked up but doesn’t need constant holding.

Asher would love to be adopted with a littermate or into a home with another young and playful cat. If you’re looking for a sweet, playful, and delightfully silly companion, Asher might be your perfect match.

Asher is fixed, microchipped, FIV/FeLv negative, and up to date on vaccinations for his age.

More about this rescue

Twin Cities Pet Rescue (TCPR) is a small, 501c3 nonprofit, companion animal rescue organization. TCPR does not have a facility and is 100% foster-based. TCPR rescues dogs, cats and small animals of all breeds; rescuing them from city impounds, puppy mills, and other situations of abuse and neglect. Once rescued, all animals receive veterinary care ranging from spay/neuter, vaccines, microchips, and basic testing to specialty eye surgeries, pet dermatology care, and various other specialty treatments. Once an animal is rescued by TCPR, it remains in a foster home until adopted, no matter how long that might take.
TCPR often rescues animals that are considered “less adoptable” by other rescue organizations, as they are often the ones overlooked and truly left behind; and in need of the most help. These animals might be overlooked due to their age, health status, special needs or breed. TCPR works to help as many animals in need find their furever families as we can, especially helping those animals that need help most.
