My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Jambalaya is the definition of a gentle, loving companion. She may be a little shy at first, but once she feels comfortable, her personality really shines. She’s the kind of cat who builds a special bond with her person and truly becomes part of your everyday life.

She absolutely loves to cuddle and will gladly curl up next to you for quiet time. One of her cutest quirks is how she “talks”. She soft chirps and will have little conversations that make you feel like she’s always sharing something with you. She absolutely loves making biscuits, it’s one of her sweetest little habits. Even when she’s rolling around on her back, those paws will be up in the air, happily kneading away like she just can’t help herself. She also has a playful side, especially when she’s feeling stealthy, carefully stalking her favorite toys (she does have her preferences!).

Jambalaya enjoys greeting you when you come home and spending time nearby, whether that’s lounging on the couch or just keeping you company. She’s curious in a calm, respectful way. She likes to explore, but she’s never one to get into trouble. Simply put, she’s a very, very good kitty.

More about this rescue

Tenth Life's Mission:
Giving cats the lives they deserve.
At Tenth Life, we believe that every cat, regardless of emotional or physical limitations, deserves the chance at a fulfilling and happy life.
We provide veterinary care, foster homes, and adoptive placement to stray cats and kittens, prioritizing those with special needs. We work to end unnecessary euthanasia and cat homelessness through educational outreach, community programs, and collaborative partnerships.

Only when a trusted veterinarian determines that a cat is in a state of incurable suffering, does Tenth Life relieve them of their pain through gentle and humane euthanasia. This difficult and thoughtful decision is never made in response to a lack of space, negative behaviors, or because a cat's medical needs are challenging or expensive.
