Thackery is a lively, expressive boy. He can entertain himself with the simplest treasures - a hair tie, a drinking straw, a lone sock - and he proudly delivers “presents” to his person as if he’s sharing the spoils of his adventures. Call his name and he’ll come running, often announcing himself with one of the many chirps, mews, or trills he uses to communicate.
In foster care, Thackery lived with Luke, and the two shared a comfortable, companionable rhythm: exploring new spaces, watching birds, greeting their foster at the door, and generally enjoying life with another cat nearby. While we would love to see them adopted together, the most important thing is that Thackery continues to have feline companionship in his next home. He’s very people‑oriented, but he truly shines when he has a cat friend to share his day with.
Thackery loves being in the same room as his person, seeks out daily snuggles, and offers an affectionate presence without ever being overbearing. With another friendly kitty and a human who appreciates his playful spirit, he’ll be a joyful, engaging companion who brings personality and warmth to every corner of the home.
My adoption fee is $125 and includes the following:

These requirements help us to ensure a positive outcome for everyone involved, including our pets, as well as to continue to help other needy pets. We will also do periodic follow-ups and offer help with any post-adoption issues that might arise.
