My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Amaryllis is the sweetest potato in all the land! She is overall a docile, gentle-natured girl, space-invader, lover of chin scratches and pets, and total couch potato. She is happiest leaning up against you and thinks shes a lap dog. Amaryllis has done well with other dogs, cats, kids, and even bunnies! She enjoys going on walks and, while she needs a little lift to get up, is a great passenger in the car. Dont hesitate to adopt this lovebug, shes one in a million!

Amaryllis is Isabelles staff favorite because she has the cutest face, the biggest heart, and the silliest snorts. She just cant get enough lovin. As a RAL staff favorite, Amaryllis adoption fee is waived!

More about this shelter

Richmond Animal League (RAL) is committed to saving lives by giving hope, help, and loving homes to animals in need. Our vision: All cats and dogs are in a loving home with access to the support they need to thrive.

RAL has been committed to saving the lives of animals and finding loving homes for pets for over 45 years. Since 1979, we’ve worked with area shelters to provide temporary housing, medical treatment, vaccinations, spay/neuter, and loving care to tens of thousands of pets who were then adopted into new homes.
