My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Amaryllis is the sweetest potato in all the land! She is a docile, gentle-natured girl, space-invader, lover of chin scratches and pets, and nap queen. She is happiest leaning up against you and trying to climb into your lap. Amaryllis has done well with other dogs, cats, kids, and even bunnies! She enjoys going on walks in the crisp air and, while she needs a little lift to get up, is a great passenger in the car.

Heres what Amaryllis foster mom says about her: Amaryllis is a regal lady with a face you simply cant resist. Shes the grand dame of cozy vibes! Shes the ultimate balance of soft snuggles and independence. A champion napper, potty trained, and a devoted eater. Amaryllis adores gentle chest pats, especially when shes curled up, gazing adoringly at you during cuddle time. Shes also a bit of a diva, if you give someone else too much attention, shell remind you whos boss with a little grumpy charm. Her loyalty is unmatched, and her favorite pastime is simply being your loving shadow. If youre looking for a calm, cuddly soul wholl keep you warm and make you laugh, Amaryllis is ready to claim your heart!

Amaryllis is Isabelles staff favorite because she has the cutest face, the biggest heart, and the silliest snorts. She just cant get enough lovin. As a RAL staff favorite, Amaryllis adoption fee is waived!

More about this shelter

Richmond Animal League (RAL) is committed to saving lives by giving hope, help, and loving homes to animals in need. Our vision: All cats and dogs are in a loving home with access to the support they need to thrive.

RAL has been committed to saving the lives of animals and finding loving homes for pets for over 45 years. Since 1979, we’ve worked with area shelters to provide temporary housing, medical treatment, vaccinations, spay/neuter, and loving care to tens of thousands of pets who were then adopted into new homes.
