My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Charlotte 🤍🖤 | Foster or Adopter Needed

Charlotte’s story started with urgency and concern — a dog in distress, believed to be in pain, with nowhere to go as shelters were full. Thanks to a determined finder and a community that rallied, she made it safely to us.

And here’s the happy update: Charlotte wasn’t injured at all — she was just in heat.
No medical crisis. No emergency surgery. Just a scared young dog who needed help and a soft place to land.

Now that she’s safe, we’re finally getting to see who Charlotte truly is.

✨ About Charlotte

1.5-year-old female black & white mixed breed

Shy at first, but opens up quickly

Extremely sweet and gentle

Enjoys the company of other dogs

Quiet, observant, and affectionate once she feels safe

Charlotte is the kind of dog who blossoms with patience and kindness. Each day, her confidence grows, and her personality shines a little brighter. She doesn’t ask for much — just a calm home, reassurance, and someone willing to let her move at her own pace.

🏡 What she needs now
Charlotte is ready to leave survival mode behind. She needs:

A foster home to continue building confidence

Or better yet, a forever home where she can finally exhale and belong

If you’ve ever wanted to be the person who shows a shy dog that the world can be kind — Charlotte is waiting for you.

Additional adoption info

We try to make the adoption process as smooth, convenient and easy as possible. We treat each animal as an individual and take that into account when approving applications. While one dog may require a 6ft privacy fenced in yard, another may be just as happy going on walks and living in an apartment. We consider the home set up and lifestyle of Adopters in regard to the pet they are interested in more than other barriers.
