DOG'S DESCRIPTION: Meet Babe Macaroon!

Babe Macaroon is a precious member of the adorable Cookie Litter, seven siblings who found themselves in a very crowded shelter in Alabama—no place for a puppy. Thankfully, K-9 Lifesavers stepped in, and Macaroon is now thriving in a loving foster home, enjoying life as part of a big, happy puppy pile. Macaroon is a hound mix (best guess) and is 100% adorable and incredibly sweet. She is everything you’d hope for in a puppy—loving, playful, and full of curiosity. At her young age, she is in her prime for training and socialization, making this the perfect time to welcome her into a forever home. She does great with other dogs and would love a family ready to guide her through puppyhood with patience and love.

Your new pet will require a refresher in house-training. K-9 Lifesavers strongly recommends all new adopters enroll their new pet into obedience training. This provides for an easier transition into a new home, ensures the dog remains well socialized, and helps form a bond between the dog and the new family.    

Adoption fees cover basic vetting, rabies (if puppy is old enough), distemper/parvo vaccinations, deworming, monthly heartworm prevention while in our care (if old enough), monthly flea/tick prevention while in our care, and transport costs. K-9 Lifesavers will also cover the cost of spay/neuter at our partner vet at 6 months of age or reimburse adopter for up to the amount of our partner vet cost should you choose to spay/neuter at your own vet.
