My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Ritz is a fun-loving 2-year-old with lots of energy and an eagerness to learn. She’s currently working on her basic commands and learning how to walk nicely on a leash. With her enthusiastic personality, Ritz will thrive with someone patient who’s ready to help her polish her manners. The good news? Ritz takes corrections very well and is motivated to do her best—especially when treats are involved! She absolutely loves being outside, where she can burn off energy and enjoy the fresh air. With consistency, guidance, and plenty of love, Ritz has all the potential to become an amazing, well-mannered companion.

Breed is based on physical features. All shelter animals are considered to be a mixture of breeds.

More about this shelter

Springdale Animal Services' mission is to provide shelter and care to the thousands of stray, abandoned, abused, and neglected animals in need every year. We reunite lost pets with their owners, and place many that are homeless in caring, permanent homes. We strive to ensure the welfare and public safety of our community and its animals through education of our citizens and enforcement of our ordinances. We promote spaying/neutering all domestic animals at the earliest appropriate age, as a means of reducing their overpopulation.
