Here's what the humans have to say about me:
This beautiful Rottie girl is Junie! She arrived at the shelter as a lost dog on 1/7, and sadly, no one has come to reclaim her. Junie is now in need of a hero to adopt/rescue her. You see, Junie tested positive for heartworms, and when the shelter is at capacity the dogs with medical issues are at risk. With proper treatment and care, Junie can go on to live a long and healthy life. Please speak with shelter staff about the option of fostering to adopt while she receives treatment. The volunteers describe Junie as very sweet though initially a little shy. Once she warms up and trusts you she will lean into you for affection and belly rubs! She knows several commands including sit, down, and stay.
Junie is approximately 2 years old, and weighs 71 lbs. She is UTD on vaccines, and has been spayed. She will be microchipped upon adoption. Please come meet her in kennel 878; her ID # is 16205.
