Banana Split is the life of the party! Found with siblings Rocky Road, Cannoli, and Churro, this little adventurer once turned a house under construction into his personal playground. After growing healthy and strong in foster care, Banana Split is now ready to bring his endless energy to a forever home.
At 5 months old, Banana Split is the most playful of the bunch — a nonstop bundle of zoomies, pounces, and happy chaos. Toys don’t stand a chance, siblings are always up for wrestling, and every day is an excuse for fun. When he finally runs out of steam (briefly!), he’s all about refueling with treats and crashing into the biggest naps imaginable. Banana Split is looking for a home that’s ready to keep up with his lively spirit and laugh along every step of the way!
Meet Banana Split 7 days a week from 12pm to 430pm at 2960 Shafto Road Tinton Falls

More about this shelter
The Associated Humane Societies rescues stray and homeless animals, both domestic and wildlife, providing quality care and sanctuary until loving homes can be found. As a community-based organization, we provide low-cost veterinary care and humane education to promote responsible pet guardianship throughout New Jersey.
For over a century we have offered a haven to abused and neglected animals. Founded in 1906, AHS is the largest animal sheltering system in New Jersey, operating three shelters located in Newark, Forked River, and Tinton Falls. Our Forked River facility also includes Popcorn Park. Established in 1977, Popcorn Park is a sanctuary for abandoned, injured, ill, exploited, abused, or elderly wildlife, exotic and farm animals, and birds.
The Society is a not-for-profit, 501(c)3 organization and we take pride in our devotion to the thousands of animals that come through our doors looking for a better life.
Please visit our website AHSCares.org for additional information.
