Meet Foxy! Foxy came to us as a stray with her posse of three other adult female cats. Two have since been adopted, and now Foxy is ready for her turn. She had to go through some medical treatment for tummy problems which we think we have figured out. With a specific diet of wet food in the morning in a slow feeder, she hasn`t had any issues in a while! Foxy gets along with other cats but can get overstimulated easily sometimes, so other older mellow cats like herself may be best. She is very affectionate with people and would never turn down an ear or butt scratch. If you think Foxy sounds like the girl for you, she`s here waiting to meet you!

AFHS is open 7 days a week, and adoptions are first come, first serve. We encourage you to visit the shelter to meet our pets.

Cats - 5 months and over: $40.00
Kittens - 4 months and under: $50.00
Senior Cats - 7+ years: $10.00
Dogs – 5 months and over: $95
Puppies – 4 months and under: $200
Senior Dogs - 7+ years: $50
Each animal receives age appropriate vaccinations, spay/neuter, flea/tick prevention, microchip, county license & Heartworm prevention for dogs, trial bag of Hill's Science Diet food, and 30 days free pet insurance. AFHS is open 7 days a week and no appointment is needed to visit with adoptable pets!
Dogs must leave the shelter with a collar and leash, which can be purchased at the shelter at the time of adoption if you do not have one to bring with you.
