Kiera was adopted from us ten years ago, sadly, her family was no longer able to keep her after falling on hard times. Her, and her dog brother Hulligan, landed in amazing foster homes and they are now ready to find loving homes to live out their golden years in!
The best way to sum up Kiera is perfection! Kiera is all around a wonderful dog that will be an amazing addition to any home. She does great with other dogs, kids, and has not been interested in the cat at her foster home! Kiera is so happy to cuddle with a human, but can also be left alone for a full work day with no problems. Kiera is housebroken and walks very well on leash! Here is what her foster mom has to say about her.
"Kiera adjusted to my routine very quickly.Being a senior dog , I thought it would take her a little time but she did great. She sleeps in my bed at night at the foot end and doesn't budge , sometimes I don't even realize she is there. She likes to look out the window. And even when someone walks by with a dog , she does not bark. It has been a real pleasure having her here. Whoever adopts Kiera is getting a really special dog. She would be great with a family with kids or grandparents who have grandchildren who come over. She likes to be around people, but she is fine when left alone. She is not demanding when it comes to attention. But she does like to be petted, and feel loved."

Kiera's adoption fee is $175 (or waived for an adopter aged 65 or older!). This animal is spayed, up to date on core vaccines, and Heartworm negative.
