Happy Sunday everyone 😊 I’m Missy 💛 I am only 1 and I’m the perfect girl for someone that is looking for a super duper friendly love bug 🥰 My coat is extra soft for a Rottie, if I do say so myself. Im not gonna lie I’m making it a point to tell you because, I love affection…. rub my ears, scratch my head, give me big chest rubs, don’t forget my shoulders, belly and hips. oh I’m good with my paws being touched too 🐾 I should mention I’m also a professional lap dog (even if I’m not exactly lap-sized) 🫣 I love sitting in your lap, resting my head on you, and being as close as possible! What can I say I adore people, other dogs, and basically anything I can play with or get affection from ☺️ I’m a smart girl and very motivated by treats and toys 🧸 I know “no”, and my sit is pretty polished 😌 I even sit on my own for my leash and meals because I know it gets me outside or fed faster 😉 I’m still working on not jumping and learning “off”, and I’m discovering that just because I can reach the counter doesn’t mean I should. My foster mama apparently doesn’t need help cleaning the tables off 🙄 I’m just starting to learn “come” and haven’t mastered loose leash walking just yet, so a fenced-in yard is a must for me to safely burn off my energy and have fun outside 💨 I know “go potty” and If I need to go out, I’ll stand by the door, wag my cropped tail, and politely ask a human for help ☺️ honestly I’m just a big hearted, playful, affectionate girl looking for a family who will help me keep learning and loving. Approve Application
The adoption application is assigned to screening team and carefully screened. If application meets acceptable criteria it is then approved.

Meet the Pet
Meet and greets are scheduled after an adoption application is approved. All family members and dogs in home must attend the meet and greet.

Sign Adoption Contract
If meet and greet goes well the pet can then be taken home for an adoption trial.

Take the Pet Home

Please allow between 7-10 days once your adoption application has been submitted to be screened. You will then receive a decision via email with further steps and who to contact if approved for adoption.

R.E.A.L Rottweiler Rescue was founded in 2003 by a couple with a passion and love for the Rottweiler breed. We are an all volunteer based 501c3 non-profit rescue organization. Our primary focus has been on Rottweilers, but we also rescue medium and large sized dogs of all breeds. We take in homeless rottweilers and work with them in our homes to assess personality, temperament, training and needs. Then place them up for adoption. Our goal is to find not just any home for each dog, but the perfect match for both the dog and its new family. To date, R.E.A.L. has had over 2000 successful adoptions!
